ricgem2002
Because they're the few services that those with money don't tend to rely on. Obviously apart from emergency services. but thousands who havent got a lot rely on these services .so is it ok for these to be cut ?
Titanic99
" Rowing away from a fast sinking ship ", obviously you are a socialist, look after myself, not go back and help anyone else. I've always struggled to get someone to define what a "Socialist" is when this has been labelled towards me. So tell me what you think one is and I'll tell you if I match that critera. Whyt Lindow
but thousands who havent got a lot rely on these services .so is it ok for these to be cut ? Imagine a machine. From the front the machine may look fancy and important. Take of a few cover pieces and you see what's inside. That's where most of society lies, we do nothing more than run the machine whiles't being oiled with money to keep us running smoothly and without complaint. The upper echelons of British society are merely the cover pieces to stop stop things getting in a ruining the fluid motion. Now think about the question you asked. Is it okay for the those who need it to be deprived of maintenance? No. But who's gong to tell the government that they are making huge mistake, after huge mistake? Am I? Are you? Is someone else? Probably not, or even if you tried they wont listen. You can ask why they keep cutting, but no ones standing up the plate and saying, "Thats enough." Actions may speak louder than words, but words are bloody good place to start. (Plus, we don't live in that world any more.)

truman
And they moan about labour borrowing money, yet spending is up this year on any amount Labour borrowed and will higher be for the next few years. Even the EU has gone cap in hand to China to borrow money. So do you want them to spend or cut? You don't seem to be able to make your mind up.. Balpin
So do you want them to spend or cut? You don't seem to be able to make your mind up.. What is your answer? My answer is to spend. Create work, open up the pit heads, and the steel works. Make gas and fuel rather than being Miloi and expceting it to be brought to us. For over 30 years we have had this silly 'service' idea thrust upon us. We are and adventurous, hard working people. It is time we reclaimed our tue nature. alchresearch
There was a bit on my local news yesterday about the Motability scheme coming under threat in Kendal. Should the government be funding loaning electric mobility scooters for shoppers? Wouldn't anyone who had a genuine need for one already own one?
