peppercorn
Hi People, I am just wondering what your thoughts are on the " supposed" comet that is due to sweep past Earth on the 26th September. Apparently we are in for a bumpy ride within the next few weeks. What is real and what is fiction in this case? Are nasa lying about it being a nothing comet? Does Leonid Elenin even exsist? Karis
The only "bumpy ride" would be if a comet actually struck the Earth, which is impossible in this case as, comet Elenin is over 45 million miles from the Earth. Sadly, this is just another 'the Rapture is coming' form of Internet hysteria. This comet has absolutely no chance of being anything other than a nice blurry white smear across the heavens. In fact, it's dropped in magnitude by 50% over the past few months, which makes astronomers think that the core has split, which means it's even less of a threat. So, in summary: there's absolutely nothing to worry about. Well, other than the ridiculous doomsayers online that love to revel in spreading lies and false information. Would be interested to find your views At the time the press was claiming the supernova in the Pinwheel Galaxy was visible with binoculars (it wasn't) two weeks ago, this comet actually was visible with a pair of binoculars. So in answer to your final question, it does exist, yes. As for the rest of the nonsense, it's nonsense. Have you been listening to David S*Icke? Karis
As for the rest of the nonsense, it's nonsense. Have you been listening to David S*Icke? It's sad that people DO listen to this stuff. There's a 15 minutes 'expose' on Youtube from a 'scientist' who says the Government is covering up the whole comet incident and that it's going to hit... /sigh. It's nuts
