After ten years Muslims make a stand against extremism.

Can I expound on that comment, andy?

Those who turn to the terrorist path, and plot atrocities are traitors to the human race. end of

Apparently to some people, only Muslims can be terrorists (no-one else)

Hi Plain Talker, hi CXC3000. I just wanted to share this with you and the other posters on here who say the media cover all the positive stories about muslims up.

Saudi women now have a vote. Surely that's positive?

But those blowing things and innocent people up are mostly Muslims.

Oh well that changes everything, lets persecute them all becuase a small number of them are at it. To paraphrase dubya let us make no distinction between the terrorists, those who harbour them and those who look a bit like them and go to mosques.

Maybe no stories are published because Islam has very little good to say about itself.

Maybe its because 'most people oppose extremism' isn't a story.

That's why its called 'extremism' in the first place see.

Why should ordinary peaceful people spend their time apologising for and condemning the actions of extremists that they have no connection with other than by being associated with them by bigots?

and even when it's not muslims we like to jump to the conclusion that it was,

see Timothy McVeigh, and Anders Behring Breivik.

Just because that is the way the media presents it and the conclusions they jump to it doesn't mean it is true.

Saudi Arabia should never have surpressed women over the right to vote- it was permitted over 1400 years ago in the birthplace of Islam.

The KSA just has its own rules-perhaps they are now beginning to loosen up as more women seek to enter politics or have a say.

In fairness he's right though. Two good examples you quote, but for every non-Muslim example of a bomber/terrorist who has killed western people in the last decade, a quick Google will provide 10 or 50 names of recent Muslim bombers and killers - they are the 'most' he claims.
