mj.scuba
weren't most IRA bombs planted in pubs or army barracks? City centres were also frequently targeted. Tbh, in the context of the thread I'm unsure why Irish terrorism has been brought in to it. Their aim wasn't simply to punish and kill as many of the infidel as they possibly could like todays Islamic terrorism.

Baz1
The phrase you use there BF, 'home grown', is now commonly used to refer to terrorists (of our own nationality). When did Christian terrorists (by that I mean anybody invoking the Christian God or Jesus Christ as any part of their cause or justification) ever specifically threaten Muslims? There are many out there who feel they would need to justify their religion as way to attack the other- George Bush did just that when he gave the green light for the Iraq invasion. Historically, you only need to witness the slaughter of 900,000 Rwandans in 1994 in a population that was over 90 % Christian; or the genocide of over 300,000 Muslims and systematic rape of over 100,000 Muslim women by Christian Serbs in Bosnia between 1992 and 1995. Anyone with any sense can say that just as true Christians would not commit this sort of terrorism (true followers of Jesus) likewise true followers of Islam would not commit the terror attacks that get labelled to Muslims. O ye who believe, be upright for God witnesses injustice; and let not hatred of a people cause you to be unjust. Be just — that is closer to piety. (Qur’an 5:8 )

(Qur’an 5:8 ) History tells a different story; throughout history one religious or ethnic group trying to slaughter another religious or ethnic group is the norm. The belief in a god as always been used to justify the slaughter of non believers or those with a different beliefs.

Even though the Faith forbids killing innocents ?
