Sheffield Forum came from 2 goals down to win 3-2 at High Green with a battling performance. There were a few changes to the side as Matthew Corker (ribs) and Liam Wales (ankle) both miss out due to injury. Daniel Sheedy was able to make the bench after going off injured last week. Joe Appleby, Ashley Proctor and Kevin Carroll came into the starting lineup.

Sheffield Forum went a goal down early on when High Green were allowed 2 free headers in the area, the second one finding the back of the net. Forum again struggled to get into the game as it became hot tempered and bookings started appearing for dissent. Joe Appleby superbly stopped the ball from crossing the line when the ball was looped towards goal, Joe managing to scoop it off the line, getting himself caught in the netting as a result.

High Green did go 2-0 up when the ball broke at the edge of the area and after being given time and space, the shot was driven in. Sheffield Forum did manage to reply before half time with a little bit of luck. A weak effort by Kevin Carroll after being played through, went through the keepers legs. High Green had had most of the posession and attacking play but half time was High Green 2-1 Sheffield.

At half time, 2 changes were made with Ashley Proctor and Philip Gill making way for Daniel Sheedy and Lewis Slater. The second half continued much in the same way but Forum did manage to pull level when the ball broke to Shane Middlebrook in the area from a corner and he smashed it in the roof of the net. Forum then managed to take the lead through Daniel Sheedy, slotting past the keeper for his 4th goal of the campaign.

High Green then had a player dismissed for dissent but continued to apply constant pressure. They were awarded a penalty for handball towards the end of the game only for it to be saved by the keeper. Chances were a plenty but Forum keeper and defence stayed tight and managed to hold off for the win giving Forum their 2nd win in 4 games this season.
