CXC3000
Actually, it's because she is a human being. Also I've raised issues of Muslims being persecuted in the world such as Ahmadis. Or are they not true Muslims to you? What about Muslims in general ? - whether they're from a minority group or not ?
mj.scuba
What about Muslims in general ? - whether they're from a minority group or not ? Muslims in general, like Shia and Sunni Muslims? Yes they also suffer terribly from persecution and violence, usually at the hands of the other.
mj.scuba
Girl accused of blasphemy for a spelling error Scalded and beaten for a spelling error, it beggars belief. Why are we giving our money to this country? --
sccsux
Scalded and beaten for a spelling error No. The word is scolded, not scalded (which has quite a different meaning). I forgot, you're from the GCSE generation:rolleyes:.

sccsux
Looks like you've been scolded for a spelling error too. Thoroughly deserved though in this instance as it adds additional violence into the equation, rather than a stern telling off.

Same as we were "beaten" in school (being a little older than you, I can remember capital punishment in schools - of a variety of flavours including "rulers across the knuckles" and the cane, and slipper). Banter is quite correct, however the subject matter is rather more important surely? Girl actually horribly oppressed for a spelling mistake trumps pointing out others spelling mistakes?
