Expat owl
Was impressed with his attack on the Tories and their handling of the NHS but apart from that it offered absolutely nothing but hot air in my opinion.
crookesey
Comments from Labour members that I am friends with. Harman has been quoted in the press as being disappointed (she would be because he isn't a woman) and Balls would stab him in the back to get the job. You wouldn't trust Balls standing behind you in the trenches with his bayonet fixed, would you? I am not a Labour supporter but thought that Milliband handled himself competently. Big time
Frank Field should be the Labour leader. Sadly though, there are not many people of his calibre in the Labour party.
crookesey
Frank Field should be the Labour leader. Sadly though, there are not many people of his calibre in the Labour party. Blair sacked him for 'thinking the unthinkable', when he wrote the 'Welfare Reform' green paper. Cameron should have asked him for his advice on pensions, he could have made him pensions supremo. I1L2T3
New Labour died when Blair left. No it didn't. Unfortunately there's still loads of Blair-ites knocking about.

Well you are obviously a Tony Blair admirer then!.....every movement and gesticulation, every "I want to tell you"phrase and many more, are all from the Blair training manual. I think he is beginning to out Blair,Blair!!! Don't get me wrong! I think Blair has proved a class act if you like that sort of thing. He has proved that you can be a socialist, but still head off into the sunset making millions, whilst leaving us in the deep sh*te with a dour bullying Scott in charge who will no doubt end up once again in the money like the "windbag and missus" doing the tango in Brussels(or the 4th Reich) as it is now affectionally known!
