taxman
I will vote Tory again when they boot a load of the dead wood out of the civil service and tax office who clearly have nothing beter to do during their working day but make up stupid politically motivated threads like this. Ever heard of "Annual Leave", or do you Tory scum want to abolish that as well as raising taxes and cutting spending?

Magilla
Man is not inherently greedy, it is learned behaviour. Man is made greedy by the capitalist system. What, like the capitalism that led the Soviet party leaders to own private fleets of American limousines, and have luxury dachas all over the place? What Soviet party leaders have to do with anything is beyond me. Hope that clears up your (deliberate) confusion.

Big time
Not at all, My post was refering to your weird idea that Gordon Brown was a Marxist. I didn't comment on, or even read the Daily Express link. Wrong again. What Soviet party leaders have to do with anything is beyond me. You said greed is inherent. That means that we all have it...including you. Ok you don't read the Express. It will be the Daily Mail then. Gordon Brown is, like just about all the Labour front bench, a Fabian socialist, they have more or less the same aims as Marxism/socialism, but are patiantly working to achieve it gradually by reformist rather than revolutionary means. I know I've been banging on about it a bit but people need to be aware of the Fabian society and how it has basically took over and effectively is the Labour party. Balpin
Anyone who works for a living and votes Tory is obviously misled. But I meet many who believe that the party is the greatest thing to hit this country. They all fall for the massive propaganda machine, and do so every time. The brain washing to keep the workers down goes far before the modern media. Look at the old hymns sung in the churches, my granddaughter has been taught one at school, which I had forgotten about, 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'. A verse from it, 'The rich man in his castle The poor man at his gate He made them high and lowly And ordered their Estate' These words were sung when the landowner, or factory owner was in the same church as the 'poor man', and watching how lustily he sang the words. We are the last free country in the world to throw off the yoke of inherited class, but for some reason the people seem scared to do it. Perhaps it is because of this subliminal tinkering with our brains as children.

Mecky
I voted Tory at the last election and I will more than likely do so at the next election. I simply do not believe Labour anymore, they are dominated by the middle-class and care more about middle-class people than they do about the workers they were set up to represent. Did you ever? I'm working class and no Labour politician knocking about today represents me, people are being misled alright ....by the Labour party !
