Michael_W
You must know from recent history that socialism in one nation cannot exist. The only way forward is international socialism. The entire needs of the world can only be fed by the entire produce of the world. That is a thing you cannot deny. The system you so admire, is one that is spitting in your face. You, and others like you, are doing all the work, and others are taking the fruits of your labour, and giving you the fragments left after they have feasted. Open your eyes and see how foolish you are, allowing yourself to led up the garden path. The produce of the world will always need people to work, some will always work harder than others, how does international socialism deal with that ? Keith Rich
COMMUNISM: You have two cows. You have to take care of them, but the government takes all the milk. SOCIALISM: You have two cows. The government takes them and put them in a barn with everyone else's cows. They are cared for by ex-chicken farmers. You have to take care of the chickens the government took from the chicken farmers. The government gives you as much milk and eggs as the regulations say you need. CAPITALISM: You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull. Congratulations! You know as much about Socialism and Communism as your friend Conrad.
Michael_W
Congratulations! You know as much about Socialism and Communism as your friend Conrad. Come on Keith tell us what socialism really is, do you put into the pot or take out of the pot ?
Keith Rich
The produce of the world will always need people to work, some will always work harder than others, how does international socialism deal with that ? But its capitalism that has made you think that way. You are saying that you would be worried if someone were doing less work than you and getting the same wages. Its this importance given to money that is the problem. Put people first not money. The country would be transformed overnight.

Balpin
The produce of the world will always need people to work, some will always work harder than others, how does international socialism deal with that ? It relies on the fact that we all must work. 'From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.' That is a very simple and basic carry on. If you take away the grasping. leeching upper strata of 'society' who contribute nothing to us it is pretty much the way the working people of the world operate today. Take away the parasitic 'upper classes' and we could work very well together I think.

Can we really define the 'parasitic upper classes', are there any 'upper classes' who are non parasitic ? I reckon their are 'parasitic' people in every class you can define ! Happ Hazzard
If Socialism only works if there is no other system allowed to run alongside it, that really isn't much of a system, is it? How do you prevent people from turning to capitalism? At the point of a gun? How long can that last for before people revolt?
Michael_W
Do I contribute what? Taxes Keith that's what ! Do you do 12 hour shifts at work while your able bodied neighbour claims all the benefits possible without trying to find work ? This is the capitalist system that you know, some put into the pot and some take out, now I don't have issues with anyone who falls on hard times taking out of the pot, but those who never put in don't cut it with me ! So should we all contribute equally and take out equally...that sounds a bit like socialism to me !
