MrSmith
I will take up your challenge. Disprove this: "Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." 1 Timothy 1:17 I’m mortal and visible but that isn’t a definition of me. That doesn't appear to be a definition of God; it’s a quote from a book. Define God tell me what God is and can do and I will prove it cannot exist. MrSmith
And if you read the bible "god" was pretty keen on manifesting himself to all and sundry, yet he's been suspiciously quiet for the last 2,000 years. Hmmmm:suspect:. Which is clearly incorrect because God is invisible apparently.

MrSmith
If you're this confident can you disprove the existence without a definition? That would be like asking me to prove a tongjkalwat doesn't exist. I would need to know what it is in order to disprove it.

I don't think it works that way but we'll see what happens
Agbus
I’m mortal and visible but that isn’t a definition of me. That doesn't appear to be a definition of God; it’s a quote from a book. Define God tell me what God is and can do and I will prove it cannot exist. You are invisible to me but I believe you exist because of the evidence on my monitor. Likewise with God. Prove me wrong and prove God does not exist.

Murphy Jnr
Indeed - you can't actually disprove the existence of something that doesn't exist. What's more there is no need to yet the determination to do so is great which probably hardens the resolve of those who have no doubts that he does. Agbus
I don't know what God is, so if you define it I will prove it doesn't exist. God became man and walked the earth two thousand years ago. Prove he didn't exist.
Murphy Jnr
If it did exist, it would actually be easier to prove that it didn't exist than if it didn't exist. proving something doesn't exist is a tall order if it does or did i read that wrong?
