You didn't fall for anything Janie, I for one am pleased to see a genuine theist with an open mind contribute to the thread. Yes it gets a bit "You said this, I said that, blahblahblah" and it's easy to get caught up in it but it only takes one genuine person to come along and give some input we can discuss, then the thread's back on track

I have tried to seek out the truth but you are ignoring my questions and being evasive.

Maybe it would be better if you just tell us that you believe in God but you don’t know why.

 

That isn't quite right. You believe in evolution which is fair enough, each to their own, I only wish you were as tolerant about Christianity. An example of your intolerance is that you are very dismissive of the Bible and speak of it as only a book which is true, but I would be very surprised if you haven't read "Origin of Species" and similar books which when all said and done are "only books."

 

Now there is a common saying about being able to read people like a book and I am reading it.

I have spoken to many Christians that also believe we evolved its one of the problems with religion they tend to evolve to fit in with new discoveries.

The bible is a book, describing it accurately doesn’t make me intolerant to Christians.

You can now be very surprised because I haven’t read Origin of Species or any similar books and yes they are just books.

1) You do it on purpose, to wind people up

 

2) You genuinely do not understand the definition of many things

 

3) You have serious communication problems, including perception and understanding of clear, plain language.
