denlin
Not, get a Peugeot 106 or 206 if you want a reliable, low insurance first car.

Evei
Hi everyone , I been woundering if a ford ka would be a good first car and or not , any idea ? , They are good first cars, much faster than you expect just a little small. Safety wise my sister was nearly pushed into the fast lane of the motorway by a artic lorry pulling out and her little Ka stood up to it! Cost 2K+ to fix all the damage done to the body work but it was on the other driver insurance as it was his fault and she had no injuries just was very scared. If you drive on the motorway a lot I would be tempted to go for something more solid, but they are great city cars. With it being a ford they are cheap to fix and run and nothing flashy to go wrong with them. Not very comfortable for passengers though!
