NUCAD
Hi a good friend of mine who does not have internet access needs some help and advice. She has a 10 year old boy with dyslexia. She does not claim benefits and works part time at the school her son attends. Apparently he needs a laptop to help with touch typing to communicate more effectively. Also he needs additional tutoring but the school will only provide an additional half hour. Limited without the joy of the internet she has found a facility to get help but at £18hr its beyond her financial reach. I am happy to visit any suggested sites and research on her behalf and print out and take whatever else is required. Many thanks in advance
LUVSHEFFIELD
In my experience, if your friend only does one thing for her child - this could be the most valuable: http://www.toe-by-toe.co.uk/ I found this book/programme of exercises to be a Godsend. Ensure she reads the guide to using the book thoroughly before embarking on the exercises with her child.

charlie75
Another recommendation for Toe by Toe, you can buy the book on Amazon and I've seen it in Waterstones. Its about £25 I think.
