CorkerSWFC
One of the biggest if not the biggest story in the world today and the Mail online publish this lmao http://twitpic.com/6upmbq
Obelix
Well to be fair they would have written both side sof the story - they just posted the wrong one! I seem to recall the Guardian publishing the death of Cliff Richard once, and the Telegraph "killing" Princess Anne inappropriately as well so it's not just the Mail that gets it wrong

Stoatwobbler
Hi We've been in contact with the DM. However, they will not speak with us re this story. Are you expecting the Daily Fail or their gullible readers to actually admit that they got something wrong?
Stoatwobbler
Not so much wrong as made up Complete with fictitious quotes!
dosxuk
Complete with fictitious quotes! It has to be said, that all the major media sources will do exactly as the Mail have done and prepare stories for both results of a court decision. They will normally also update expected quotes for actual quotes in the minutes after the decision is published, meaning a few people may see something inaccurate, but the majority will see what really happened. The bigger story is why the mistake wasn't picked up on immediately and rectified.
