Bob crow negotiates a great deal for his union members,

But the train drivers do their jobs, they don't bankrupt the country, cry and whinge, get a bail out, pay themselves millions in bonuses then threaten to go abroad.
No, instead they strike when they don't get their own way and bring the capital to a standstill. But that's ok?

Quite right, Bob Crow has the London Underground b the short and curlys.

Or they need to be bribed to the tune of £2K not to think about going on strike next summer.

No they will not go on strike for more money next summer but I suspect they will find a cause to threaten to strike eg. LUL management might need to apply the disciplinary rules but Mr Crow will insit on calling everyone out pending the outcome to any appeal.

Just read the Standard for typical daily reports about the underground.

Er, the Docklands Light Railway has been running for c. 20yrs. Al its trains are unmanned (OK, 'undrivered').

So there's one easy way around Mr. Crow and his mates...

Don't know, why don't you go ask the French or German's.

Still doesn't take away from the fact that the Labour Government gave the contract to Siemans in the first place.

but you think its ok for them to do it and get away with it yet this country stands by its principals and puts 1000s out of work

Well if Labour hadn't given the contract to Siemens in the first place maybe 1000's of jobs would not have been lost.

As for the French and Germans not playing by the rules, i never said it was ok but thats up to them if they decide to please themselves. No doubt the same people moaning about the Tory's sticking with the Siemans contract would have been the same people moaning if the Tory's had ripped it up and maybe had to payout £100's of millions in compo.
