wednesday1
we are all paying for the failings of the last semi-socialist government who spent all our money and then some. The UK was in a large financial hole well in advance of the financial crisis. The recession just made it apparent to us all, and showed that Labour should have never been trusted with the economy. How do you think that paying public sector workers almost double the UK average salary is going to help us get back to prosperity? No we weren't. WeX
Says the biggest waster of all times ... what issue anyway? I can sense your anger ... PMSL Come on Mecky, why do you not answer my direct question? You make endless comments on the government, are you or have you ever been a MP or held a position in government? WeX
No we weren't. yes it was: http://www.debtbombshell.com/images/uk-budget-deficit.png http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_vAY0KStDEkE/S6sgw2xQLGI/AAAAAAAAAM0/T7FBOXoMsk4/s1600/Deficit.gif but I accept the word "large" is subjective but we were spending more than we earned and their appeared to be no reduction in the spending. In essence the government of the time was spending more and more money we did not have and the recession exaggerated this to the levels we see today. Our requirement to fix this problem is eve more apparent.

ronthenekred
Proves how corrupt the unions are, £50k for a tube driver even in london is totally ridiculous. What do you do and how much do you earn? If you don't mind the question.

Mister M
Thank goodness. Quite how tube drivers get by on just £50k for pressing the 'open doors' button I don't know. That hard-left cretin Crow actually compared them to Airbus pilots, but pointing out that the tube may have more passengers.
