Holidays paid for when your on benefits??

Recommended Posts

You are paid a short break grant of upto £400 I think if someone has a disability, i don't think they give anyone on benefits money to go on holiday.

Well the 2 families i know of none are suffering from any disabilty. I just think a holiday is something you work for and earn and if your not working and claiming benefits then why should you be entitled to a holiday? Now if someone is on benefits and lives to a budget to save their money for a week in skeggy then thats their choice but why should they be able to claim for a holiday?? When i say "they" i mean ya "bog standard" job seekers allowance people not carers or the disabled
