DMac66 Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 Just on the look out for like minded people, who are fed up with the music scene in sheffield and who would be interested in a inimate northern soul and motown night.It is something i am going to organise but need to know there is enough interested to make the venue owners to let it go ahead. modforlife Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 There's actually already loads of Northern Soul , Motown nights on in the Sheffield area. Most are on set monthly dates. The ones that spring immediately to mind are , ridgeway Arms at mosborough, Davy McKees at Darnal, KGB at the old picture palace on London Road, Soul train at Penelopes in the town centre, and on a Sunday afternoon once a month what used to be the fountain bar in town host one.
