paddy8
Ermmm , someone did fall for it... Me, Doh . 12 years ago this man approached me , i bought 3 fake ( i thought they were ok ) Armani leather jackets for £90 . Luckily i sold two of them to people that i never met again so i only lost £10 . I learnt the meaning of the saying " if it's too good to be true " and it only cost me £
Cyclone
Just walking up my road when a car driven by a man speaking poor italian stops and tells me he has been to a convention in the middle of town and his boss has given him a bonus gift. He did not want to return to Italy with it so he wanted to Give it away the rest is garbage but i said no and and he drove away Be aware that this happened to me in Bradford and Manchester (must be the look on my face) but what comes after accepting can be costly If it's the scam as explained in the thread then the artist here wasn't very good. According the OP he wanted to GIVE IT AWAY, not sell it.

According the OP he wanted to GIVE IT AWAY, not sell it. The scammers frequently say "give away" initialy, as they did to me and in this example: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/some-italian-dude-trying-scam-me-parking-lot-551080/

MC Spyda
I'm not entirely sure what the scam is here either. What happens when you accept the gift?
