swordfish1
We went in Friday night, years since I'd been in, didn't know it'd been closed. That'll be why it smelled of paint then!

rollwithit
Will it still be doing Karaoke nights and if so when ? The Sunday karaoke has not moved up the road to the Botanical with DJ Andy. Starts from 8.30 till 12ish. The new owner of the business has taken on a number of other pubs as well as the Pomona and sacked all the entertainment staff. The business model is more about serving expsensive food rather than approaching previous markets. (A PC way of saying they want snobs in the pub) lol. Maybe the new owner didn't want the same crowd in the pub as before the refit, there was a reason it closed in the first place isn't there. daniel3982
Does it have a website or does anyone know the name of the company that has taken it on? I'm sure I saw it advertised looking for tenants with money for refurbs from one of the big pub co's like Enterprise or Punch.
