How do you get rid of pigeons? they keep landing on our fence

Recommended Posts

Get yourself a Barnett Black Widow hunting catapult and a kilo of aniseed balls, its great fun and you can eat your own ammo.

But then the surviving pigeons will come really early in the morning, carry off the unexploded aniseed balls to their lair and eat them. They might stay away during the day, but will return with terrible diahorrea at first light and perch on the fence for a bit whilst relieving themselves with a vengeance.

Hmm you have a point, better step up to the bigger bore cherry balsams, just remember they have a trajectory like a rainbow so you might have to get closer :hihi:

What's so bad about having pigeons in the garden anyway? What harm are they doing?

............... but, if you really want to get rid of them, how about fastening some of those windmill things to the tops of the fence, or barbed wire, or solar lights or something.

What a load of tripe.

I use a 20 bore by the way and wood pigeon makes very good eating.

You just turned me on:hihi:

With a tag like Mr Floppy I'm not sure that the feeling is going to be mutual.;)

:hihi::hihi::hihi: this forum beats the telly any day.

If you read that legislaion correctly you need licence, have to prove they carry disease and damaging your property is not an acceptable reason for shooting birds. You also are required to exhaust all other methods first

no you dont:loopy:
