AEGALE Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 In the 1950's Wentworth street area, was there anywhere like 'childrens nurserys' or creache's for the 0-5yr olds. carosio Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 In the early fifties I attended a nursery at Netherthorpe school, my mother would leave me there whilst she was out at work, also my grandparents lived opposite the bottom of the school on Bonville Street, alongside St Anne's church.
