joinerisme Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 20 years ago I took my late wife for a meal to The Shiny Sheff.She pointed down the ravine across the road & said when she was younger her dad used to take her & her younger brother there on a Sunday afternoon.There was a stream & a sandy edge & her dad said it was the seaside in Sheffield.Sadly her parents are deceased but can anyone spread any light on this.I,m from Lancashire so I,m lost.
