TaxiBaz
Asking is one thing. Getting a reply that is truthful is another thing Not dissing posters who were on any call of duty with the forces. But we all know the trolls are there . . . .

donkey
Do I? Could you identify any words that I used that gave you that impression? Everyone edits what they see so that it fits in with their pre-conceptions and prejudices to some degree or other. However, this often seems much more pronounced in those with extreme or fanatical views. It can be so extreme that some people actually seem to hallucinate when reading/hearing anything which doesn't tally with their version of reality. Such people will pen irrelevant replies to posts, which show little or no comprehension what was said, but instead appear to be in response to the imagined thoughts and opinions of rigid stereotypes they have dreamed up, seemingly confusing them with real people in the real world. TeaFan
More Falklands veterans have killed themselves than died in the conflict itself http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/shocking-suicide-toll-on-combat-veterans-1746475.html The usual MoD / British govt. attitude; 'you've served your purpose, we don't need you now and we're not going to look after you. We'll have a parade every year though, to pretend we care'.
