The Menagerie is coming, with stags, pigs, chicks and bears.......... Thankfully all are inanimate and handmade!

On the 7th of November James Green, Fenella Noble, Panga Designs and Red Bear jewellery are all exhibiting at the Cross Scythes, Totley.

James Green will be bringing his prints and cards, which are eye catching modern expressions of traditional pictures. His Pheasants are self assured, inquisitive and full of expression. As a Sheffield based artist, James finds much of his inspiration from the land and the city scapes around him.

Fenella Noble will also be joining us, bringing her fabulous farrow of piglets. Each one is hand made and different from any other. The pigs themselves appear almost alive, missing only their “oink”! Fenella’s sculptures are always a wonderful focal point to any event, and on the night she will be bringing with her some of the tools she uses to demonstrate the way the pigs are made, the how- is far more mysterious!

We are also adding to the menagerie with Panga Designs, they will be bringing their hardwood pieces, each one is handmade in Nether Edge, with items ranging from beautiful wine racks to quirky Chick chopping boards.

Our final exhibitor is Red Bear Jewellery. Gill hand makes all her pieces using silver and semi-precious stones and shells, ensuring she creates a unique and beautiful range. Her aim is to design and develop an affordable and beautiful pieces, made with the care and attention that mass production can not compete with.

The Menagerie kicks off at 7:30pm, with drinks being served. Please come along, enjoy yourself and see the wonderful creations that the exhibitors are bringing.

The Cross Scythes has a free car park, is just off the A621.

It is accessible on public transport via the 97, and the 218 services.
