Bonzo77
Most alcoholics smoke. What's that got to do with anything?
lesterman
What's that got to do with anything? If most alcoholics smoke it should tell you a lot about other people who smoke.
praises
There's clearly more to a person than whether or not they smoke. It is a habit that has had a very negative impact on my own family though (well relatives at least), so going out with a smoker would be problematic. Conrod
Well call it what you like but you will have to continue to suffer it,as I have to suffer idiots.Ah, but non-smokers suffer that too - when they encounter the sort of idiot who will put a tube of lit leaves into their mouth and breath in the carcinogenic fumes, and pay a small fortune for the 'pleasure'. Now that's idiocy.

lesterman
Even if it's good for you? I know a women who made her husband quit smoking. She kindly asked for it as a present for one of her birthdays: "I don't want anything I just want you to quit smoking. I'll help you". He did it. At the next birthday she asked him to quit alcohol. He did it. True story. On his next birthday he committed suicide without any encouragement as he was bored out of his skull.
