cliffsharky Posted October 17, 2011 Share Posted October 17, 2011 hi asked wifes mum about your grandad, she can remember him says they lived a few yards down from gillys yard and was a big family.she also thinks they went to school at same time but was a bit vague .she will be 79 now so if your grandad would be around that age could be right.also wifes dad who came from grimesthorpe says he remembers the name.did not give any more detail only that he was a bit of a lad.
