Cameron says Jobless rise is disappointing.

Recommended Posts

Because they make their workforces work more cheaply as they are fearful of losing their jobs and thus enjoy a bigger margin.

But wouldn't that mean the workforce would have less money to spend.

If they have less money to spend they can't buy as many things as they used to and at the cost they used to pay.

So the price of the things would have to come down or the business would sell less of them and make less profit.

No it would not mean that.

I'm surprised we haven't already had the swivel eyed wingnuts on here saying the rise in unemployment is due to lazy people being mollycoddled and living the life of riley on benefits.

What the hell is a "swivel eyed wingnut"?

The expression has a lovely ring to it , but what is one?

A particularly nasty variant of the species:

Also see bottom right for whom the term 'swivel eyed' was invented:

What is it the Tories always spout? "Unemployment is a worthwhile price to pay for low inflation".

Unfortunately they've given us the high unemployment....plus the high inflation. Still, it won't affect them.

"The Tories"

"They"

"Them"

Where did "they" say that?

Anyone would sound a bit bonkers (including you) when they make such ridiculous sweeping statements about the majority the population of England.

I don't think that you're bonkers - did you mean something else?

Everyone knows what he is talking about. You are being deliberately obtuse.
