fisch
when i opened bank accounts for my children at yorkshire bank i had to take their birth certificates and something with my name and address on, id ask at your bank and check what you need. Halifax said i needed to take in my sons driving license to which i replied hes a small child, i got the reply we need to see his driving license as ID so i said again very clearley incase i wasnt heard properly last time what driving license he is a child, the so called bank advisor looked at me very confused and said you cant open an account with out one, i said id go to a different bank and speak to someone with some common sense
algy
I think you have to be the parent to do this, not a grandparent.
I1L2T3
Could be wrong but I thought grandparents could do it. Also have a think about child's stakeholder pension, NS&I investments and also the Junior ISAs will be launched soon. Not advice, just a pointer to some of the things available.
