TheBlueDragon
Hi people. I've just been put on Pregablin and the doctor told me it will make me sleepy. This is fine as I'm always sleepy due tO my other medication. What I wondered is.... As I'm already always sleepy and already end up having a nap about 3pm will the new medicine make me even more sleepy or will I just feel the same? MuteWitness
Maybe someone who takes it can help you, I take 30/500 co-codamol and find they make me very sleepy but if I took anything else with them it would have the opposite effect and keep me wide awake. fruitisbad
sleep on meds is weird, you might get more hours but not feel any more refreshed. a lot of sleeping drugs seem to have that effect. not good.

I've often wondered that about sleep pills, do they benefit you, is it the same as sleeping normally?
fruitisbad
I suppose phyiscally you get the hours sleep that your body needs, but you don't feel refreshed or re vitalised like you do after a real sleep

Murphy Jnr
I guess if you're really screwed up then shutting down artificially is better than not at all.
