Bring back proper apprenticeships and get youth working

Why not shut down the FE colleges and many of the universitys?

 

In their place, pay companies to give actual on the job training to our youth, giving them the skills that are actually needed to make them employable.

 

Then stop all foregn labour coming into the country and taking the jobs.

 

Get our youth filling the vacancies, working and having a more fulfilling life, put money in their pockets, get them spending money and helping to grow the economy.

 

With nearly 1million people unemployed between 16 and 24, every area of our economy could be filled with British workers, and that even includes not needing foregn doctors.

 

I already hear the left shouting "where will the doctors come from, and what about the nurses?"

 

Easy answer, the army of graduates who leave university clearly have the intelligence to study at that level and so these people would recieve specialist training and the skills needed to become a doctor, and as for the nurses? easy, just employ the newly qualified nurses that leave uni every year that cannot get jobs now.

If after that point they refuse to do the jobs, then that can be confronted at that point. Give them a chance

Great post/thread. The problem is we vote for people that want 3 million unemployed and 1 million illegals and at least 5 million uneducated immigrants. Why?

So the rest of us will work for pennys with no pension.

We are also conditioned to think its racist to talk about it and those out of work are lazy.

The fact is, we are predicted to get alomst 10 million extra people in 30 years time.

 

Where are the jobs, where are the houses, where is the infracstructure? it is the policys of the manhouse.

 

Unless of course the political leaders have to follow this path in order to gain lucrative pensions no doubt funded by the EU.

 

MOney corrupts, just look at Greece, while the average Greek is sinking into the abyss, their political masters continue to stab the average Greek in the back whilst recieving vast sums of money from the EU in payments to themselves. These people are the worst kind of traitors, probably as bad if not worse than political leaders whho sided with the nazis in WW2

 

With the vast sums being paid in housing benefits and other money being people to deal with problems of youth unemployment (drugs, drink, petty crime), we could throw all this money into first class training, so companys can do this in house and receive money at the same time.

 

The kids get a feeling of self worth and pride.

 

Every job would then be filled by the 1million 16-24 year olds who could not find jobs. We would then not need the foregn labour and our political masters..........well, they may not like that idea

I agree with the OP, we should reduce our reliance on foreign labour, get some of our youth off the dole queue and introduce an apprenticeship in getting up at 4am everyday to be out in a field picking vegetables out of the ground all day.

Apprenticeships are great - if there are jobs to go into.

 

But with 1200 people losing their jobs every day firms are struggling to keep afloat with the people they already have, never mind taking on and training more people.

"Pond Street Tech College"which I` attended ,used to educate apprentices in City@Guilds and National and Higher National Diploma courses.............3 and 5 year courses mostly done at nights in students own time, with one day release from employers(in some cases).

That became a polytechnic college that morphed into Hallam University turning out a trail of debt ridden degree wannabes with little hope of a job at the end for lots that have been conned by successive governments into the education for all fiasco!.................and lots don't think they should even pay anything towards the three year timewaste!

Oh dear, this will only result in the gangmasters currently organising agricultural labour going out of business! You vile left wing nutters.

 

Why not just ship our young people to india or china, where the jobs are? Then the good people running factories need not worry about paying them too much or giving them employment rights.

 

We can close all our education facilities and let the indian government sort that out! That way no-one need pay towards these scrounging youngsters.
