LDeville
Hi if your CH system is only a few years old, nthen 99% cert no sludge, fact. Your prob sounds like a historic, slow leak in the system and it could be one of the pipes. Call a CH specialist, tell them the type of boiler you have, how old/spprox the sytem is. What is their call out and what they do for that - what if a part is needed, do they cahrge to go away for 2 horus and get the part then charge you for the part and their two hours. if you call out an emergenct heating expert they will charge loads. Get a oil filled rad from Argos for aobout 40 quid, turn it up to keep warm, and theink before you act.
grababargin
my heating is in full working order now. no expensive charge either. the pressure had dropped after i had bleed them, so there wasnt any water in them. £20 is all it cost me, so im over the blooming moon, plus the guy moved me a ceiling light in that cost too.
