harvey19
I guess that they'd like the elected Governments to provide for their futures, rather than propping up a broken and discredited financial system for the benefit of a few. That would be a start. Don't you think that the young have a right to be angry at the moment? I think many are angry with the way things are but what change will protest bring ? Sadly I think the days of protests changing things have gone. We will have the same system tomorrow.

Sadly I think the days of protests changing things have gone. We will have the same system tomorrow. I'm not so sure. There is the whiff of change in the air. I'm not sure that I fancy it myself, but maybe we are about to see a political shift. Capitalism as we know it has failed. The market is no longer deciding anything. The question is: Can we replace it with a better system?

Guest sibon
Socialist Labour or NuLabour ? I don't think that either of those have the answer either.
Nagel
It would be nice to see some direction to these protests, some sort of manifesto to get behind. At the moment the protests are aimless.
