Forgive me but jeebaz who designed that and more importantly why? it looks as tho the puegot engineers had a JD or 12 too many while trying to make the RCZ so instead they recycled it and sent it to mini on a poundland deal so yes im not impressed by that and i doubt ill be buying one when it is put out for sale.

to be fair that looks like a modernised mini marcos

By making it faster, more luxurious, more efficient and better handling.

All could be done on the original Mini. A Jack Knight five speed box was to die for! Stick a Metro 1.3 ERA Turbo in a Mini and it would fly, same with the top spec Metro interior. Handling was already superb.

I used to love showing up the kids in Rotherham and Chesterfield town center with my 1275 GT. It was full race prepared apart from roll cage. 6 extra engine struts just to stop the thing ripping itself apart. All those poor XR2i's and XR3's i ruined :hihi: In fact, i wasn't really scared of much apart from the suicidal Renault 5 GT turbo (wish i had one of those):o
