Romantic overnight stay near Sheffield, where?

Recommended Posts

There's a lovely grassy spot just outside Crystal Peaks where you could pitch a tent, good parking too :)

you should get there in good time for a couple of steak bakes from Greggs and you could go to William Hill for some entertainment, just like a cheap night at the casino, then in the morning you could call in at Maccy D's for breakfast

how romantic would that be?

:)

good luck

pure class :)

To the OP, I can rent you my flat for the night. Waffles galore, views of a few scrap cars, and you can visit the history of the TV prog 'This is england' on the door step. I will mop the floor and put a fiver on the leccy card. My bush 21inch semi flat screen works, and I have an abudence of VHS vids (some naughty ones too, ignite the passion!).

Please bring your own bed linen though, mine moves around on it's own.

Hi,

Some great responses here, others a bit :loopy:

I love Castleton and the Strines Inn, but being from Sheffield I am too familiar with those places and want something different. The place at Ashborne is lovely, my husband and I went there for a coffee when we first met and I still remember how lovely it was.

Any idea along those lines, rather than the McDonalds-type suggestions???
