Balpin
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-15327839 What is this all about? They land at Gatwick, instead of Heathrow, because of fog they say. They are not allowed to go about their business and are detained for 8 hours. The Police are called to make sure they stay. Why not just let them go from Gatwick? speedbirdone
flight diverts due to fog, crew run out of hours, so new crew has to be found. Passengers kept on aircraft. Slow news day. Although if they knew it was going to be as big of a delay as it turned out to be due to waiting for new crew to arrive. Why didn't Air India just allow the passengers off to be processed by customs and immigration at Gatwick and whoever wanted to end their journey at Gatwick could do so and just bus the rest up the road to Heathrow. callippo
which airlines are those ? yes, which airlines are those? They have to be national pasenenger carrier, like British Airways or Uzbekistan Airlines. Not some aircraft ferrying a bunch of goats and chickens somewhere domestically.
