h2407
We have decided to have our wedding breakfast served family style- so large plates of food will be placed on each table for the guests sat round to help themselves. We like this as it is a middle ground between a buffet and a formal sit down meal But we are struggling to come up with ideas of the food we can serve. Can anyone help??! *Peaches*
IMO you could go one of two ways, typical traditional or Continental

We went to a wedding recently where they served afternoon tea. Lots of lovely sandwiches served on tiered cake stands, scones and cream and cakes. Pots of tea on every table (along with bubbly). It was a great idea. Plus hog roast in the evening. It made a change from the usual fromal wedding breakfast and was reminiscent of an old fashioned village fete with bunting hung all around the marquee. We thought it was a great idea for a summer afternoon.
