manofstrad Posted October 19, 2011 Author Share Posted October 19, 2011 Yes as i see it a smack/slap is something an adult does to another adult using full force whilst a spank is softer and more controlled without inflicting injury. They were discussing this issue on the Toby Foster show this morning (surprise, surprise!!). I had to chuckle when Toby said something along the lines of it being irrelevant what title we give the action, call it what you like it simply amounts to one thing, an adult being violent towards a child.
