Why is my gum so numb?

Recommended Posts

OK so I have a toothache. I have posted before about work that needs to be done. It turns out I was referred to a sedation centre. I have an appointment with them next year.

But a tooth on the bottom left has kicked off and now... the gum around it feels so numb. You know how your mouth feels after the dentist gives you an anesthetic? That is what it feels like!

Is it the body's response to the toohache or is it connected to the toothache? I hope it is nothing more serious. Is there any way I can get rid of it?

Go to a dentist and have it checked out instead of posting on here where no one will have a clue what's wrong with you. Even a dentist on here would need to look at your tooth to give an opinion ! Perhaps this is why you are getting silly replies;)
