Regardless of our assistance or not our Kenyan friends are helping us, 2 "british" islamists from Cardiff of all places captured trying to cross into to somalia are being handed over to British security services.

Hopefully their interogation will reveal valuable information about the recruiting networks targetting british muslims to go and fight abroad for terrorist networks.

Nice one Kenya and thumbs up to the Muslim community in Cardiff including their famillies whose tip offs to the British authorities gave the Kenyan army the leads to track them down.

We already have troops in Kenya.

Al Shabab translates as youth.

If we must starve the Somali's half to death indirectly and bomb innocent women and children, then shame upon us.

Somali is rich in oil.

Why should we realise that wealth and not the Somali people?

Britain is involved in a secret high-stakes dash for oil in Somalia, with the government offering humanitarian aid and security assistance in the hope of a stake in the beleaguered country's future energy industry

Oil is often put forward as an excuse for going to war.

Maybe it is, but the question is, is it worth fighting for?

We have to ask ourselves what this country would be like if the supply ran out. Would you be willing to give up your job, home and standard of living for the principle that we shouldn't get involved? Most will say we shouldn't but if you were threatened with redundancy and the future of yourselves and that of your children were threatened you'd be encouraging war, I think.
