Vague_Boy
What a bleak vision of the future It's truly laughable that you think that this will make any difference whatsoever. Osborne, Blair, Cameron, Brown, Clegg. You're simply exchanging one corporate/bankster stooge for another. It's like Puppet Boy in the US. "Change we can believe in". What change? He's merely continued the policies of Bush. The only major difference is that he's much better at reading off an autocue than Bush. Perhaps you think that whichever one of the Milliband Twins will be in charge at the next election will save us. After all "things can only get better". IMO Osborne is out on his own in the nastiness stakes. But you're right it's not a great choice. On the Tory side it's one from three ex-Bullingdon club members. On the Labour side one of two half-witted brothers at war.
Rich
George Osborne is a numpty, so no, I do not want him to be the next Leader!
ampersand
if the global economy doesn't rescue him he might not even be chancellor after the next election never mind PM in waiting I suspect the tories will win the next election outright - partly due to a lack of a credible opposition from Labour and a lot of Lib Dem voters being unwilling to support a Tory coalition, but I suspect that will keep Cameron as PM for as long as he wants (or at least till the next election) and in 6-8 years time anyone could have come through the ranks (just please God not Michael Gove)
