How do you survive on £60 per week. ?

Recommended Posts

You learn, you adapt.

You can have very cheap nights out if you know where to go.

No car = walking....buns of steel, baby :D

Pets keep you sane in these times.....keep the pets, things can only get better.

sacrifice your hobbies and holidays.

Smoke less, socialise less, drink less.

then when you do het a job.... wehey!! I'm in the money.

I can FINALLY buy clothes that aren't from primani, and go on holidays that aren't camping in the Peak District!!

After scrimping and saving and learning to live without things, I now have a job that pays ok, but I feel rich. Really rich, so I'm going on a proper holiday! with NEW clothes.

But I still watch the pennies.

So you reckon becoming a monk is for everyone?

Yeah, but what if you don't want to wreck your liver on cheap stuff? All that cheapo stuff is only drunk by berks. Of course it's a human right, if you have nothing to do all day and night, the human right is to get wrecked, so you don't think about never having a job and future and stuff.

Yeah of course it is

In that case you better keep quaffing your Moet and Ruinart Crystal to keep you in your happy place. Dont want to ruin your liver do you.

Now I think its time for you to go back to Button Moon

Never heard of those poets and books, whatever. Drinking whacked out booze is just no good for you.

Well, I wouldn't know anything about being a monk, but I guess some people just aren't interested enough in religion and unwilling to give up sex to consider it. 'Monk' isn't a job description that comes up very often on the regular job sites.

But you said in an earlier post how happy you where, living as a poor person. Not everybody can do that.
