jonjo2 Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 hi transit t280 ,hole in the outer sill ,right hand side of the sliding door. failed mot due to being within 30cm of the rear suspension mounting. the inner sill okthe floor ok the chassis ok. its taken 9yrs for it to get to that stage,in comparrison it would take another 20 yrs to reach what it is supposed to' how does a bit of corrosion on the outer sill that can be covered with 2 fingers effect the suspension mounting on a vehicle with a full chassis. are these people who make these rule on the same planet. i can understand it if it was in the chassis within 30 cm (chassis 5ml thick floor within 30 cm(2 ml thick )even inner sill (l1.5 ml thick)outer sill cosmetic. comments please £100 to rectify Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
