Tone09
Hello I am looking to start swimming regularly at Ponds Forge, but would prefer to go when it is quiet. Can anyone who goes regularly let me know how busy it gets first thing in the morning please (6.30-7.30am)? Thanks Tone
rabitter
in my opinion early morning is the busiest time, people use it before going to work best time seems to be between 10 and 12 but it still gets quite busy i go twice a week and always 2 or 3 to a lane
*Pear-Cider*
agreed with Rabitter on this ! and definatley avoid Mondays around 6.30PM ! nearly drowned last time i went then, really fast people in the medium lane as fast lane full just not respecting anyone. Kids absoutley everywhere aswel on swimming lessons, changing rooms not nice, it was hectic
Tone09
Thanks for the replies. I might join Virgin Active or something then. I quite fancy a bit of peace and quiet when I am swimming.
Fudbeer
Yes its a nightmare when busy and fantastic when quiet! I once went monday early evening never again! It really gets quiet between 2-4 most days. Can never understand why they often only open a limited amount of the available lanes even when there are no activitys.
