Agbus
That would depend on how separate the church and state of that country were. Abortion, equal rights etc., who makes the law?
skinz
Perhaps this is one area where the church along with social workers can come into it's own by working to change the hearts and minds of people on a personal basis? Just for the record the church I attended made no distinctions and has always allowed women to participate fully in all areas. Which church? Or more importantly..which religion? Agbus
Do the women of that religion/church allow men to fully participate? Oh yes, everyone is equal. May I also point out it isn't very long ago there was all that trouble over working men's clubs. Do I smell bigotry when people are always finding fault with churches? Do I smell bigotry when people are always finding fault with churches? Do you mean bigotry or hypocrisy or double standards? I have issues with gender (and other forms of) inequality wherever it lies.
