So I just wondered if anyone knew of any fee-free Mortgage brokers in or around the Sheffield area? Thanks for any help, it's much appreciated. If you're not paying him, it means the mortgage company is paying him to sell their mortgage instead of someone else's ... so he will not be impartial. Mortgage advisors that charge a fee still get paid by the lender and to be honest most of the lenders pay near enough exactly the same amount of commission as each other. They come to your home and show you all deals on laptop, you are then free to choose whichever one you want and they go over everything with you and sort out all paperwork, they are really good company, based in Dronfield.
