I find this strange too..if I wre to leave an unattended brief case there I bet it would be shifted tout suite but empty tents are OK overnight?It'd save carrying a backpack round wouldn't it? Presumably you just read it in the Guardian and assume that everything the Guardian prints is true. Anyway Halibut, if you're so passionate about these protests, why aren't you out there in your little tent protesting with them? There's an earlier post which links to scientists and technical experts showing that the cameras and settings used to take the pictures were wrongly set up up and pointing out that the materials that tents are made from don't allow the heat signature through - i.e. would not allow people inside to show up on the outside.
