The Grim Reality of Working in an Animal Rescue Centre

I'd avoided reading this thread, but it's a reminder to all (I hope).

 

I have two large breed dogs and know that when their kind are rescued, the chances of adoption are so slim. Given the opportunity I'd want to adopt them all, but of course nobody can do that. It's so sad.

 

I've said often before that we should never have stopped dog licenses - not all people are up to the job of looking after a dog, not by a long way.
