Speed Demon Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 i have lived in the S12 area of Hackenthorpe all my life, not such an exciting place i know but there are far worse places in Sheffield now, are there any photographic histories about Hackenthorpe, would be interesting to see the very earliest shots of what my home used to look like, especially the schools and the fields, would be a good look back also, does anyone remember the ghost on Sally's Hill, the fields between Woodhouse and Hackenthorpe, near Black Lane by the factory, always wondered what her house looked like because there are definitely old foundations and stone work on them hills and my mum always said it belonged to the ghost of Sally i also know of 2 air raid shelters on them hills as i used to knock about them as a kid Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
