Lista
Wouldn't say Enthusiast, but my father specialised in Landrovers in repairs and sales, and i have codrived for my uncle in Trials. Also used to be a mechanic at my dads. Thats about as far as i go. More into my motocross mate.
Guest rosie
Everyone in the family love landrovers and we have always had one. My husbands family have had one for 40 years on and off my brother in law does trials in his, and my husband and sons have re built one.
jackthedog
Used to ride Downhill Mountainbikes but injury forced me turn turn into a poof and loose my bottle. I wanna stay with the dirt, but enjoy it from the safety of a roll cage and harness. Motorcross is too dangerous. My balls arent big enough for that sort of thing anymore! Lista
lol, i ride downhill too, but prefer Hardtail bikes for cross country and trials.. What landrover you got at the moment then? Does anyone agree that Discos are terrible offroad?
jackthedog
Not bought it yet. Scraping the funds together as we speak to buy my first. Been into them for years as an outside interest, but bikes were always my first love. Got an E Reg Peugeot at the minute. It's not done so good on the couple of occasions it's been off road! Who needs suspension anyway? Hardtail all the way.
Hippy
Yep - love Landrovers - the worlds greatest car. If it doesn't pour water in when it rains it ain't a proper Landy...
jackthedog
My current car pours water in and thats not even a Landy! Its a case of rainwater in, oil and coolant out. I want to buy an old 90, but I want something reliable and reasonably well running cos it's gotta get me to work everyday. My budget wont stretch to a 200tdi, but I dont wanna be committed to a smoking old rattly shed. Gotta dump the Peugeot soon though.
